Road Safety – Joint meeting with ScORSA, RoSPA & CIHT

We are please to welcome back Dr Karen McDonnell, Head of RoSPA Scotland. In her role as Head of RoSPA Scotland Karen is responsible for the management of activities’ linked to the RoSPA’s mission ‘to save lives and reduce injuries’ within Scotland. This is achieved through influencing policy via the promotion of RoSPA key issues such as the Management of Occupational Road Risk within a Scottish context, leading to the formation of the Scottish Occupational Road Safety Alliance which she chairs.

This is a joint meeting with the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) which is a learned society concerned specifically with the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of land-based transport systems and infrastructures.

Karen will be speaking on the positive impacts employers can have if they manage their occupational road risk, the role of black box technology with example case studies and an update on the latest road safety statistics.
