The Forth Replacement Crossing is Scotland’s biggest transport infrastructure project in a generation. The project will deliver a new bridge – the Queensferry Crossing – as well as upgrading the connecting road network on both sides of the Firth of Forth. On the 18th June at 2pm SHEF(S) members will visit the site to view the current stage of construction.
Places are limited to 12, if you wish to attend please register your interest by contacting the Secretary. Please do not turn up on the day without registering as you will be unable to go onsite. After a short visitor induction we will walk to inchgarvie house where we will view the crossing and discuss the health & safety challenges of managing such a large project with international workers.
PPE Required: Hard hat, Orange (Preferred) Hi-vis vest or jacket, safety glasses and safety boots (With mid sole protection).
